Kimberly Bird is a Canadian author who was born in the rugged northern landscape of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan where her ancestral Metis blood runs strong.  She now resides happily in Alberta still close to the forests and river's edge.  For all her complaining of the cold winters, she wouldn't have it any other way.
